A story of tradition, renewal, and creative joy
SKYTTEN is celebrating its 41st year in business. At the same time, we are marking another important chapter – our first year on Amagerbrogade. This gives us a special reason to pause and look both back and forward.
For more than four decades, SKYTTEN has been part of many customers' creative journeys. Some have followed us since the beginning and still return for materials, inspiration, and good conversations. That continuity and loyalty are something we deeply value.
At the same time, in our new surroundings, we are finding that many are discovering us for the first time. New customers step through our door – often without prior knowledge of weaving – and leave with both curiosity and a desire to create. It is a development that both inspires and delights us.
Weaving, in particular, has received renewed attention, and we are sensing an increasing interest in working with crafts and textile techniques. At SKYTTEN, we want to make it easy to get started, regardless of your level. That is why we offer, among other things, products from Ashford, which are known for their user-friendliness and quality – suitable for both beginners and experienced weavers.
For us, SKYTTEN is not just a shop, but a place where tradition and renewal meet. A place where experience is shared and where new ideas are allowed to grow.
We would like to take this opportunity to say thank you to all our customers – both those of you who have been with us for many years, and those who have just found their way to us. Your interest and engagement are the foundation of what we do.
In honor of our birthday, we are marking the celebration with a competition on our social media. We hope you would like to participate and celebrate the birthday with us.
We look forward to many more years of creativity, inspiration, and community.
