Would you like to be part of a self-organizing craft community?
A place where you meet with others and immerse yourself in historical craftsmanship in a cozy and inspiring setting.
The craft community is based on you meeting privately, sparring with each other, and sharing both knowledge and good times. You agree on a fixed weekday and time, and cancel yourselves for holidays or similar.
You don't need experience to join – everyone is welcome, whether you are a beginner or have been working with the craft for many years. The most important thing is that you have the desire and your own spinning wheel or loom.
SKYTTEN facilitates the following craft communities:
- Spinning Group
- Tablet Weaving Group
- Frame Loom Weaving Group
There is room for 5 participants in each group. When a group is full, we will contact you and help get the community started.
Along the way, the group can – by arrangement and for a fee – receive guidance, sparring, courses, and help with materials from SKYTTEN's skilled team.
You will also have the opportunity to gain historical insight into the craft from SKYTTEN's owner, archaeologist Maiken Bjørnholt. And when the weather permits, you can meet in the backyard at the shop on Amagerbrogade and work with direct access to materials and knowledge.
- Choose the group you would like to be part of
- Choose all the times you can, preferably more than 3
- As soon as the group is filled with 5 participants, you will be contacted
Choose your craft community – and become part of an environment with space for immersion, inspiration, and professional development
