A story of tradition, renewal, and creative joy
SKYTTEN celebrates 41 years as a business. At the same time, we also mark another important chapter – our first year on Amagerbrogade. This gives us a special occasion to pause and look both back and forward.
For more than four decades, SKYTTEN has been part of many customers' creative journeys. Some have followed us since the beginning and still return for materials, inspiration, and good conversations. We greatly appreciate this continuity and loyalty.
At the same time, in our new surroundings, we find that many people are discovering us for the first time. New customers walk through our doors – often with no prior knowledge of weaving – and leave with both curiosity and a desire to create. This is a development that both inspires and delights us.
Weaving, in particular, has seen renewed attention, and we are experiencing growing interest in working with handicrafts and textile techniques. At SKYTTEN, we want to make it easy to get started, regardless of skill level. That's why we offer products from Ashford, among others, known for their user-friendliness and quality – suitable for both beginners and experienced weavers.
For us, SKYTTEN is not just a shop, but a place where tradition and renewal meet. A place where experience is shared, and where new ideas are allowed to grow.
We would like to take this opportunity to thank all our customers – both those who have been with us for many years and those who have just found their way to us. Your interest and engagement are the foundation of what we do.

Tillykke med fødselsdagen og velkommen tilbage til Amager. Jeg købte min kartemaskine hos jer, sidst I lå på Amager. Da jeg skulle hente den, måtte jeg køre til Haslev, fordi butikken flyttede i mellemtiden.
Ja, der findes flere typer skytter. Jeg ønsker mig en Ashford Broklyn bordskaftevæv 40 cm.
Også et KÆMPE TILLYKKE med de første 41 år.
